BURBERRY AW15: PATCHWORK, PATTERN & PRINTS

“I liked the idea of folk crafts and hours of labour, the practice of making things by hand,” -Christopher Bailey.

Once again Burberry's newest collection was unveiled at the regal Kensington Gardens, Under Christopher Bailey's direction Next Season's Burberry Collection is that of A Boho Girl's wildest imagination, consisting of fringed suede, quilted fabric, embroidered patchwork, loose shapes and sheer printed lace in dark earthy tones of Indigo, Red, Port and Teal.

The vintage 70's styling is still firmly planted at the core of the collection, fringing is heavily applied everywhere possible, Coats, Ponchos and also trimmings of bags.

We also catch a glimpse of a sneak peak of Burberry's menswear collection! Olive green teddy bear fur, leopard print suede and brown corduroy trousers and oversized suede bag creates a his and her effect to the collection, Olive for him and Camel for her.
