Burberry Prorsum SS15 - The Birds and the Bees

"From flowers to insects. Floral hues, wasp waists and dragonfly belts. Denim, silk, gloss shell leather and cobweb tulle."

Burberry Prorsum SS15 show took place in September 2014 at was held at London's Kensington Gardens, showcasing the brand new collection to 1500 Guest's including Cara Delevingne was explosion of brightly coloured book designs decorated with oversized butterfly prints and hand-drawn honey bees. The Burberry SS15 was indeed a romantic affair with with sheer tulle dresses, on the bottom half anyway. The dreamy wing-pleat tulles were contrasted with colourful, floral outwear, including the traditional Burberry Trench, always a highlight of the show. Cropped denim jackets were given an update with gloss leather collars and pocket trims, the youthful wardrobe staple that breathes good times and optimism.A lilac high-shine number modelled by Jourdan Dunn was a collection highlight.

Wild flowers swirled across shift dresses, and insects crawling across the signature trench, and feather-light dresses tied at the waist with cobweb tulle belts, there's definitely a Midsummer Night’s Dream feel about the collection. Fitting in with the summertime woodland theme was the colour palette and textures consisting of Dégradé silk and soft suede. Shearling, iridescent sequins and wing pleating. Butterfly prints on satin and book covers on honey gabardine. Poppy red, rose pink and deep beetle green,, russets, and dusky rose pink.

Burberry has always been one of my Favourite Luxury Brands, Not only because It's classically British but because it embodies elegance but yet creates unique pieces without losing their feminine look.  I will be definitely turning to Burberry for my inspiration this summer! I am so impressed by their SS15 collection, it really communicates a comfortable everyday feel, with flat trainers and sandals. I think that the shoes really compliment the collection, they're so colouful and fun! The bowler style bags are also back, which were a huge hit last season and are a Burberry staple.

The Spectrum of colours in the collection features all your Summer 2015 must haves. The denim was worked into and teamed with pretty ombre, tiered tulle for a cool, laid-back feel. It also presented a urban vibe and ticked many of the emerging spring trend's boxes.

This years finale was all about the colourful signature printed trench coats, an artisan approach to the brand staple.

Another Fabulous collection from Christopher Bailey's Burberry.
