Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Review

Liz Earle- Cleanse & Polish

"If you don't do anything else for your skin; cleanse, tone and moisturise with our three daily essentials twice a day."

My first ever beauty review goes out to the beautiful people at Liz Earle! I currently use the Liz Earle system as my daily routine! It helps keep my skin smooth, nourished and bright!

A great thing about Liz Earle is that it’s a UK brand, the products are made here in the UK and all the beautiful ingredients are all 100% natural and organic. It’s great to have faith in a product you're applying to your face is 100% natural and doesn't contain any nasty and harmful chemicals.

This a wide range of formulas, so there's something for every skin type! I’ve always used cleanse and polish, it's so rich and nourishing! Like most products you can read the ingredients on back of the tubes so you can find out exactly what's in there, and their brilliant benefits for your face and skin. I've always found that the routine helps keep my skin well moisturised, I sometimes suffer with spot prone skin and even sometime extreme dry skin however after using the different products my skin is soon back to it's glowing perfection!

Step One
Apply the cleanser to dry skin! Yes, dry skin! I usually apply 3 pumps of the cleanser on to the back of my hand, i then apply each pump to my forehead and one on each cheek, spread the cleanser in circular motions with your fingertips, don't forget to cleanse your neck too!
Step Two
Take a minute and fill your sink with hot water to allow the cleanser to do it's work! Wipe the cleanser away in sweeping motions outwards away from your nose, rinsing after each wipe! Once you're done don't dry your face straight away!
Step Three
If you're having a breakout moment, use the gentle exfoliator in problem areas, apply it again, in circular motions with your fingertips. Again use your muslin cloth to wipe away the exfoliator and pat dry your face!
Step Four
To target a few other skin problems you can apply one of three Liz Earle face masks, I usually do this at night and have a little chill whilst the mask works it's magic! My favourate mask is the deep cleansing mask, it targets my spots and mostuires at the same time! The deep cleansing mask is slightly thicker than the other two and you recieve a sponge to remove it from your face! The mask also comes in two varitaions intensive nourishing and brightening. I like to use the Intensive nourishing if i have any dry spots, it helps to instantly refresh them, and i use the brightening mask when my skin is clear and it just needs a little more 'oomph'.
Step Five
In the morning after I've finished washing I like to spritz my face with Instant Boost skin tonic, it helps to smooth your skin and close pores, it even works as a great make-up primer! In the evening I like to apply skin repair moisturiser - it's really thick to apply sparingly!

So, want beautiful nourished skin? Well, start and end your day with Liz Earle, use a variation of products to suit your skin's needs and keep it feeling and looking no make-up selfie worthy!

Lulu Guinness - #TAPEMEIMYOURS

Lulu Guinness is all about the lips. Friday 17th july, saw the launch of Lulu Guinness' first ever customisation service and also the release of the new tape face collection.

The customisation service allows you to customise a limited edition satin backpack with the choice of which eyes and lips you would like from a selection of coloured screen print's and Appliqués, The possibilities are endless! Here are a few of my creations for inspiration.
Of course I had to order one for myself!

Can we just take a second to admire how beautifully the items are packaged!

Tape Face Collection - My Favourite Picks

The tape face collection features Lulu's signature Red Lips iAppliqué and a pair of cheeky, winking eyes.

The Rachel Pouch is the perfect sized clutch bag to contain all your evening essentials. The Continental Wallet has plenty of slots for all your cards and compartments for your receipts, notes and chains. The Cesca Tote is a great tote bag, with a removable shoulder strap, with the opportunity for handheld or across the body.

No Lulu Guinness collection is complete without an Iconic Lips Clutch. The perspex clutch comes in a rainbow spectrum with different textures and finishes, with new season colours for AW15, Damson and Burnt Orange, expanding the collection.
I'm lucky enough to own not one, but two lips clutches. I purchased the Mirrored clutch for my prom, and I also have a translucent red clutch that I got from the Lulu Guinness outlet at Cheshire Oaks, There are also Outlet's In Oxford and Ireland, they're perfect for snagging past seasons products at a fraction of the price!

Moroccan Delicacy - Marchesa Resort 2015

“Everything with Marchesa is a soft, romantic take on a theme; you won’t see it too heavily translated,” - Keren Craig

As usual, the Marchesa Resort collection is just so pretty and delicate. The designers, Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, Drew influence from intricate Moroccan tiling and their contrasting colours.

The collection also included simpler silk faille full length evening gowns in pastel colours such as powder pink, celadon green and watermelon pink with perfectly placed ruffles.

The collection also featured beautifully crafted floral motif of 3-D flowers on comfortable evening silhouettes  from a black, full skirted evening gown to V-neck tailored jumpsuit.  On some of the pieces Plunging necklines and thigh high slits were added for a sexier appeal.
